Xavier Expeditions is intentionally not merit-based! We also offer core courses, which means students from every undergraduate major can participate. And we welcome students from other universities, too!

Why? Because we believe academic success and undergraduate majors do not determine which students can be inspired, nor does it predict a student’s future impact! We believe every student can enrich our shared experiences and every student can become a person for others!

Student Status

While we are affiliated with Xavier University, we accept students from universities all over North America!

Academic Standing

To be in "GOOD" academic standing, a student must NOT be on academic probation, or have a 2.0 GPA or above, or be granted an "exception" before the expedition's scheduled departure date.

Conduct Standing

To be in "GOOD" conduct standing, a student must have no pending conduct violations or be granted an "exception" before the expedition's scheduled departure date.

Course Enrollment

I understand that I MUST enroll and complete two courses (6 Credit hours) associated with the expedition in which I participate or else work with faculty to address independent course work that equates to 6 total credit hours of work.

Our Expeditions are popular. But some backup plans can become the best decision every made! Having a second option allows students to participate in an equally incredible experience should their first option already be full.
